I was born in Columbus, Ohio. I’m married with three kids. I’m really into everything Joss Whedon, JJ Abrams and Star Trek. I collect toys and other cool stuff. Currently my favorite actor is Benedict Cumberbatch. I love having conversations about anything geeky, so feel free to email me anytime. My biggest pod-casting influences are the guys over on Schmoes Know and AMC Movie Talk.
My name is Max Andrews Jr and I was also a nomadic child. But, for the most part, I was raised in Columbus. I’m a bit of a nerd of all trades if you will. I dabble in a bunch of stuff. I like movies, TV, reading, D&D, video games (I’m an Xbox man), Magic the Gathering, board games, chess (I know chess is a board game but it deserves an honorable mention), science and the universe, and toys. My main nerdy focus is split between cartoons and comic books. This podcast thing has started to take up a bunch of my time too, so I think I can throw podcast nerd on the list. Please listen to the podcasts. They are all wonderful!
I have lived a rather nomadic life and am currently engaged. I primarily love and enjoy Science-Fiction and comic book movies and television. I am the resident gamer even though I really don’t have the time I used to enjoy them. I will try to keep up with the news and let you all know about it. I primarily own Xboxes but I do enjoy my Nintendo 3DS. My favorite actor is Leonardo Dicaprio and my favorite directors are J.J. Abrams, James Cameron and Ridley Scott. Feel free to send in comments and questions about video games and I will get you some answers.
Hello. My name’s Dan Baugher, and I’ve been a nerd for over thirty years. A native of northeast Ohio, I moved down to Columbus in ‘97. I’m a movie aficionado, I love games (both video and table-top) and almost anything horror related. I have fond memories of renting every movie on the horror shelf of my local mom n’ pop video store when I was growing up, and I haunted game stores looking for obscure PS1 games I hadn’t played during college. I will debate that flicks were scarier with tracking lines and age waves while playing in my old VCR, and I’ll admit that lines like “I hope this is not Chris’ blood” make me happier than the newest games with the prettiest graphics. Thanks for checking us out.
